Pokemon and Gaming at the library!


Pokemon Go has hit the library in a big way, but gaming has always been part of our programming. Just this month we have nine programs across all our branches to get you gaming and enjoying healthy competition with others.

Chauvin:
Dominoes and Stitches Sewing Circle: Wednesdays at 1pm (for adults)

Dulac:
Minute to Win It!: Tuesdays at 12pm

Dularge:
Mexican Train Dominoes: Wednesdays at 1pm (for adults)

Gibson:
Summer Scrabble Club: July 20 at 12:30pm (for adults)

Main:
Pokémon Gym: July 15  at 4pm

  • Open Pokémon Play. Meet other Pokémon fans and have fun. Bring your cards to build decks, trade, and battle.

Game Day: July 28 at 4pm

  • Join us for an hour of gaming fun.  Choose from one of the library's board games or card games or bring your own to share

North:
Pokemon Go Team Board

  • Make sure you go in and represent your team!

Chess Club: July 19 at 6pm

Monopoly Club: July 18 at 3pm

Board Game Night: July 14 and 28th at 6pm

  • Learn a new game or share your favorite game with others.  Board games provided or bring your own.  Teens and adults welcome.
